President of the prestigious Oriwu Club Ikorodu, Otunba Amid Adekunle Oduborisha has declared that the founding fathers of the Club would be proud of the current state of the Club.
Oduborisha made the declaration in a chat with Ikorodu Oga Radio correspondent on the sideline of the Club’s President’s Party on Saturday.
‘We set out with a 5-Years Development Plan for the club when we came in. I am proud to say that we have achieved four out of them, with only the Bio-Diversity Garden project yet to be implemented’.
‘Even the legacy project, the renovation of the Ikorodu General Hospital, Agbala Annex, was not initially part of my plans, but we were able to accomplish it’, he added.
‘You can never achieve all your set plans, but as President of Oriwu Club Ikorodu, I must say Alhamdulillahi! I thank God for everything. You can go around today and see for yourself how we have put things in shape. Our founding fathers, but living and dead will definitely be proud of our modest achievements’, he concluded.
