The Executive Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, Hon Wasiu Adeshina and the Chairman of APC in Ikorodu Local Government, Alh Waheed Animashaun have both counselled the newly elected House of Assembly members from Ikorodu Division to promote legislative excellence in office.
The two party leaders spoke on the sideline of the Ikorodu APC Victory Party held in Ikorodu on Wednesday.
In his charge to the new lawmakers, Hon Adeshina admonished them to uphold the highest tenets of legislative excellence in the discharge of their duties.
‘They are fantastic people, my message to them is that they should continue to uphold the highest tenets of legislative arm and bring new ideas that would enhance governance in Lagos State ‘, he submitted.
The Chairman of APC in the local government, Alh Waheed Animashaun has also advised the new legislators to ensure they carry everyone along in their representative duties.
‘Firstly, I want to congratulate them for their victory. My advise for them is that they should carry everyone along in the discharge of their duties so that they can succeed’, he counseled.
