
The Chairman of the national assembly primary election in Lagos State, Rt. Hon. Saleh Ahmed has today, commended the peaceful conduct of party members and all stakeholders at today’s House of Reps. primary election in Ikorodu.
Saleh, who visited Ikorodu in the company of Committee members and the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Lagos State, Pastor Cornelious Ojelabi, made the statement at the Ikorodu Division APC Secretariat at Oke Ota-Ona in Ikorodu.
Saleh expressed delight at the peaceful conduct of all party stakeholders and expressed hopes that the result of the primary election will be a true reflection of the choice of party members in Ikorodu Federal Constituency.
The visiting team was received by the Ikorodu Division APC Chairman, Hon. Tijani Olasunkanmi, who was joined by the Chairman of APC in Ikorodu Central, Alh. Waheed Animashaun, the party scribe in Ikorodu, Mr. Kehinde Ayanbadejo and a host of other parts chieftains.
Also, on ground to receive the team were the Executive Chairmen of Ikorodu Local Government, Hon. Lateef Abayomi Ladega, and his Ikorodu North LCDA counterpart, Hon. Ameen Olawale Apanishile.
The incumbent member of the House of Reps., Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Rep. Babajimi Benson, equally joined other party chieftains to receive the team.
Earlier, the APC Chairman, Lagos State, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi stated that he came in company of the electoral committee to see for himself how party members in Ikorodu Federal Constituency were conducting themselves.
‘As your Chairman, I am delighted with the report we have gotten from Ikorodu Federal Constituency and how you have conducted yourself in peaceful manner during the voting exercise’, Ojelabi said.
