AT 50, I HAVE DECIDED TO REDEDICATE MYSELF TO PUBLIC SERVICE, CHAIRMANSHIP ASPIRANT, HON DEJI OSHO

One of the leading aspirants jostling for the Chairmanship of Ikorodu Local Government, Hon Adedeji Osho has disclosed that, he has decided to dedicate the remaining part of his life to the service of humanity, through public office.

Osho, a former Supervisor for Education in Ikorodu Local Government during the administration of late Alh Sheriff Anipole disclosed this in a chat with Ikorodu Oga Radio yesterday, on the sidelines of his 50th Birthday Celebration.

‘At 50, Ikorodu has been so kind to me. Everything I am today, I owe it to Ikorodu. There is therefore no better way to to reciprocate the kindness of this great community than dedicating my life to its service’, he said.

‘I have gathered tremendous experience in private practice and through previous political offices as Ward Secretary, Senior Special Assistant to the Chairman and later, as Supervisor for Education. I believe I possess the requisite political and leadership skills required to steer the leadership of Ikorodu Local Government in the right direction’, he added.

The special birthday party themed, ‘Hon Deji Osho with 50 Pillars of Ikorodu’ was graced by the who-is-who across the political circles of Ikorodu and beyond.

The guest list include, a retired Lagos State Head of Service and former Chairman, Lagos State Local Government Service Commission, Bashorun Babatunde Tajudeen Rotinwa, a former Commissioner for Rural Development, Prince Lanre Balogun and a former Chairman, Nigerian Bar Association, Ikorodu Branch, Barr S.O.K Shillings.

Others were the APC Chairman, Ikorodu Central, Hon Waheed Animashaun, Secretary, APC Ikorodu Central, Mr Kehinde Ayanbadejo and a former Medical Director, General Hospital, Ikorodu and Member, Lagos State Health Service Commission, Dr Olukoya.
