Leader of the Ikorodu Local Government Legislative House, Hon Adebola Adebowale Ajayi has commended the Executive Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, Hon Wasiu Adeshina for fulfilling his promise to build a befitting Legislative House for the Councillors.
Ajayi gave the commendation in a chat with Ikorodu Oga Radio shortly after the official ground-breaking ceremony for the council’s legislative building project performed by Rep Babajimi Benson, Chairman House of Reps Committee on Defence.
Speaking on the building project, Ajayi praised Adeshina for being a man of his words, while assuring residents of better legislative activities from tue Councillors.
Our Chairman is ‘Mr Talk and Do’. He has just fulfilled his promise to us and we are very grateful for this.
‘For instance, the library will help us improve in the discharge of their Legislative duties, by giving us access into world-class legislative functions’.
He also spoke on how the new building will enhance the effectiveness of the legislators.
‘Residents of Ikorodu Local Government should expect more dividends of democracy from us. We are committed to working with the Chairman and his executive committee to ensure the delivery of democratic dividends to residents.
