SEYI TINUBU’s NOELLA FOUNDATION PARTNER FIRMS TO PROVIDE 10,000 JOBS FOR NIGERIAN YOUTHS

Please permit me to stand on existing protocol. Let me start by wishing us a happy international youth day. International Youth Day is commemorated every year on 12 August, bringing youth issues to the attention of the international community and celebrating the potential of youth as partners in today’s global society. As the Chairperson of the global youth council of SME100Africa I’m not oblivious of the fact we African youth face similar issues and that is why today we  stand witness the unwavering commitment of Noella Foundation in transforming the lives of countless young individuals and aspiring entrepreneurs across our great nation.

The theme for this year’s international Youth Day is “Green Skills for Youth: Towards a Sustainable World”.

This theme underscores the vital role of youth in driving innovation and change, Noella Foundation is embracing the challenge with a commitment to create 10,000 jobs for young Nigerians. This commitment holds the promise of transforming not just individual lives, but entire communities and industries, aligning perfectly with the theme’s call for innovation and positive impact. In the next few months we would create these jobs by

1. Upskilling Nigerians with tools, resources, and opportunities that empower them to carve their own path towards success in different sectors and industries, we would also back this up by setting up exchange programs and summits within and outside Africa.

2. We would also encourage those who have begun thriving businesses with resources to do more and employ more people.

3. We would fill vacancies in organisations and institutions with young Nigerians who are willing and able to work. We would use www.100jobs.ng as the portal to collate the CVs. I want to use this opportunity to thank organisations like GIG Logistics, Medplus, SME100Africa who are already working with us to create job opportunities and call on others to partner with us to create more jobs.

Imagine the ripple effect of these jobs – the lives touched, the families supported, the dreams fulfilled. It’s a testament to the unyielding belief in the potential of our youth, their unwavering faith in the power of each individual to contribute to the tapestry of our nation’s progress.

Thank you all so much and God bless the federal republic of Nigeria

As we celebrate this remarkable day, let us be reminded of the countless stories that will soon unfold. Stories of young minds breaking free from the shackles of unemployment, stories of resilience, determination, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. Each of these jobs will be a stepping stone, a bridge that connects aspiration to achievement. Nigeria is blessed with a youthful population, with over 65% under the age of 30, making it one of the youngest nations globally. This demographic potential holds the key to unlocking unparalleled economic growth and innovation even though currently Nigeria’s youth face daunting challenges which is why we have set up short term initiatives like food banks across Nigeria to curb the hunger challenge and medical outreaches like this to curb some of the medical challenges. Special thanks to Medplus and our own BAT MEDICS team for putting this together as we would continue this around the countries. Our next stops include Kaduna, Rivers, Lagos and Kano

We would fill vacancies in organisations and institutions with young Nigerians who are willing and able to work. We would use www.100jobs.ng as the portal to collate the CVs.
