As the campaign for the 2023 general elections continues to gather momentum, party candidates have continued to make promises to the voting public.
Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Ikorodu Constituency 1 House of Assembly seat, Hon Ogunleye Gbolahan Adetokunbo has promised to be a caring and responsible representative like Hon Babajimi Benson, if he emerges victorious at the forthcoming 2023 polls.
Ogunleye made the disclosure on the sideline of the flag-off of the rehabilitation of Erunwen Estate Community road in Ikorodu North LCDA.
Ogunleye, popularly called Oga was in company of Hon Jimi Benson and other dignitaries at the flag-off ceremony on Saturday.
Ogunleye stated this in an exclusive interview with Ikorodu Oga Radio shortly after the flag-off ceremony.
‘I am here to support the good works of Hon. Babajimi Benson. I have seen some of his good works and that’s why I am here to give my own little support’, he said.
Speaking on his possible emergence after the general elections, Ogunleye promised to toe similar path with Hon Benson, if he emerges victorious at the polls.
‘When I win the forthcoming general elections, I intend to follow in the footsteps of my brother, Hon Jimi Benson by bringing smiles to the faces of the good people of Ikorodu Constituency 1’, he promised.
He noted further that Hon Benson has set a standard of excellent representation which has become a benchmark for any effective representative in Ikorodu Division and beyond.
