Chancellor of the Lagos State University (LASU) and a prominent Ikorodu Division leader, Sir David Sunmoni has described Hon Jimi Benson, Chairman, House Committee on Defense as a beloved son of Ikorodu Division, in whom he is well pleased.
Sir Sunmoni made the disclosure on Saturday during the Christmas edition of the monthly I-CARE Foundation Free food distribution organized by the House of Reps member.
He also commended the astute federal lawmaker for providing impactful representation for the good people of Ikorodu, thus appealing to residents of Ikorodu Federal Constituency to re-elect the amiable legislator for a third term in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.
Meanwhile, beneficiaries of the Christmas edition of the I-CARE Foundation Free food distribution has commended the Ikorodu born federal lawmaker for putting smiles on their faces.
Some of the beneficiaries who spoke with Ikorodu Oga Radio expressed gratitude to Hon Benson for assisting them to have a merry Christmas celebration with their families.
The I-CARE Foundation Food Bank was launched in 2016 to provide food support to indigent members of the Ikorodu Federal Constituency as a way of putting smiles on their faces.
About 1,000 beneficiaries benefitted from the 2022 Christmas edition of the distribution exercise.
The distribution exercise was witnessed by some local government chairmen, APC party stalwarts and many party faithfuls.
