A group of Ikorodu APC chieftains, under the aegis of Ikorodu Local Government Chairman’s Advisory Committee has thrown their weight behind the second term bid of the incumbent Chairman of Ikorodu local government, Hon Wasiu Adeshina.
The group, led by Alhaji Musiliu Animashaun (DeCubano) formally endorsed Adeshina at a special meeting of the group, where the party leaders unanimously agreed to support the Chairman, Hon. Wasiu Adesina for a Second Term in office.
Speaking on bhelaf of the group, Alh Anuimsahaun said “the Committee is unanimously endorsing Hon. Wasiu Adesina for second term in office, based on his antecedents. We are very pleased and proud of him. Truth be told, of all the six council chairmen in Ikorodu Divisdion, Adeshina is the most-performing of all of them’, he submitted.
He also urged the good people of Ikorodu local government to come out enmasse to vote massively Adeshina, who they refer to as, ‘the right man for the job’ in order for him to continue his good works in office, through the delivery of more dividends of democracy to the good people of Ikorodu local government.
Reacting to his endorsement by the powerful and influential party chieftains, an elated Adeshina thanked the group for their support. He also pledged his commitment to continue to work for the benefit of the good people of Ikorodu local government, if re-elected for a second term in office.
Present at the crucial meeting are ; Alhaji Musiliu Animashaun (De-Cubano), Alhaji Badru Enifeni, Alhaji Waheed Owokodu, Oloye Solebo and Alhaji Lamidi Folorunsho. Other APC chieftains at the meeting are, Alhaji Musiliu Sulaiman (Ola 4), Alhaja Funmi Bashorun, Alhaji Gaffar, Alhaji M Sulaiman ( Korough) and Alhaja Okuku. Other APC leaders present include, Alhaji Olufowora., Alhaji Shittu, Alhaji Waheed Animashaun, Mrs Wonu Oshinowo, Alhaji Longe and Hon Sunmi Odesanya.
Othyers are, Hon Folami Sotubo, Hon Kehinde Ayanbadejo, Hon lateef Oyefusi, Hon Gbenga Soyebo, Alhaja Rasidat Bello, Alhaji Onigbinde and Alhaji Etiko.
