I-CARE FOUNDATION MEDICAL OUTREACH IS MEANT TO ASSIST CONSTITUENTS WHO CANNOT AFFORD REGULAR MEDI-CARE, HON BABAJIMI BENSON

Member, representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon Babajimi Benson has stated that the I-Care Foundation Free Medical Outreach which held on Saturday was meant to assist constituents who cannot afford regular medical care to access quality medical care.

Hon Benson stated this on the sideline of the medical outreach programme, in a chat with Ikorodu Oga Radio correspondent on Saturday.

‘A lot of our people have medical conditions that they may not be able to afford the cost of treatment at regular hospitals. This is the reason we have partnered with a reputable agency to bring quality medical care here to assist my constituents’.

‘Medical doctors and other health professionals in various fields are here to provide free medical services to my constituents. This is aimed at getting them ready and assured of good health in the new year’, he added.

Hundreds of Ikorodu Division residents were provided with free health consultations, free eye glasses, free drugs and health counseling by different medical professionals, based on patient’s health condition.

Some of the health challenges attended to included Malaria, Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, Eye Disease and various other health challenges.

Some of the beneficiaries expressed gratitude to Hon Benson for always having their best interests at heart, through his many people-oriented initiatives.

Some who could not hide their joy openly showered him with prayers while others gave the unassuming federal lawmaker a rousing welcome when he walked into the venue of the event.
