Azeezat Oshoala, the Super Falcons of Nigeria and reigning African female footballer of the year has stated that she is not under any pressure to score goals for her new club Dalian Quanjian in the Chinese Women Super league, adding that she is just adapting to life in her new environment.
The Ikorodu born highest goal scorer at the 2016 African Women Nations Cup championship in Cameroun who opened her goal account last weekend in the Chinese Super League disclosed this after what looked like a dip in form for her club back in England and National team level before moving to China.
Meanwhile, Ikorodu United and Destiny Boys FC; both Ikorodu based Football clubs have qualified for the round of 16 in the state FA Cup. Ikorodu United put their woeful display so far in the NNL behind, to wallop their opponent; Ezperanza seven nill, while Destiny boys defeated Nath Boys FC on penalties to make it two teams from Ikorodu in the round of 16 of the 2017 state FA Cup.
