The Executive Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, Hon Wasiu Adeshina has commended the Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu for demonstrating love and commitment to the health and general well-being of the downtrodden in the State.
Adeshina gave the commendation on Wednesday in Ikorodu during the formal launch and distribution of the Eko Social Health Agency -EKOSHA Free Health Service Card for the indigent residents of the Ikorodu community of the state.
The event which was sponsored by the Lagos State Health Service Commission (LASHCOM) offers free health screening and treatment to cardholders to enable them access free health services across any of the Lagos State General Hospitals.
The EKO Social Health Agency free health scheme is in further pursuit of Governor Sanwo-Olu’s THEME administration agenda in the health sector.
Hundreds of indigent residents of Ikorodu Local Government area were issued the free EKOSHA Health Card for free at the event graces by hundreds of residents, comprising of the aged, widowed, single parents and the unemployed.
Adeshina, while addressing the beneficiaries charged them to continue to support the ruling, All Progressives Congress (APC) at the National, State and Local Government levels.so that they can continue to enjoy people-centred government policies like the EKOSHA Health Scheme.
