The Chairman of Ikorodu Oga Development Association (IKODASS), Mr Rotimi Erogbogbo had sent a congratulatory message, ‘to rejoice with all our Muslim brothers and sisters on the occasion of this year’s Eid El-Kabir
celebration’.
The message was contained in a press release personally signed by Erogbogbo and made available to Ikorodu Oga Radio in Ikorodu on Tuesday.
Erogbogbo also prayed for the Muslim Ummah across Ikorodu Community.
‘May the peace and blessings of the season dwell and abide with us all in Ikorodu. Indeed as we celebrate, let us call to heart the lessons of the season’, he advised.
He also sounded a note of caution to residents, against the backdrop of the third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic in the State.
‘Let us share with the needy and less
privileged among us in the true tradition of Ikorodu. Let us observe
the full protocols of Covid-19 as enunciated by the government
particularly against the backdrop of the more virulent Delta strain
that has found its way into our state’, he said.
You are important to us. You are
important to Ikorodu’, he concluded.
