The Ndigbo Community in Ikorodu yesterday, 19th August paid a Congratulatory Visit to the Ikorodu local government Chairman, Hon Wasiu Adeshina, in recognition of his excellent service delivery and for running an all-inclusive and detribalised administration.
The visiting residents of Igbo origin said they paid the visit as a show of solidarity and loyalty to the incumbent Ikorodu local government administration.
A major highpoint of the visit was the presentation of Award of Excellence on Hon. Wasiu Adesina.
Leader of the delegation, Mr Peter Ara stated that the award was ‘to appreciate him for numerous noticeable achievements done from inception till date and also to congratulate him for his victory at the recently conducted LG elections,which ushered him into the Second term as the executive Chairman of Ikorodu LG’.
