Few hours after we reported the traffic hitch being experienced around the Dangote axis of Ipakodo community, repreive seems to have come the way of residents and road users in that axis.
The repreive is coming through the intervention of the Majority Leader of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. S.O.B Agunbiade, who is the incumbent Member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Ikorodu Constituency 1, under whose constituency the area falls.
Hon Agunbiade announced the intervention through a public statement circulated on the social media by one of his aides.
The message is hereby reproduced below;
‘I have been in constant communication with the GM LASTMA and other relevant agencies since I got information about the case. Kindly be informed that LASTMA officials and a Team of the LASEMA Response Unit ( LRU) have been drafted to the scene to recover the affected trucks and also to attend to the incident around Abbattoir/F1 axis’, he stated.
‘Credible efforts are ongoing presently as assured by the GM LASTMA who has been giving me regular updates.
The hiccups will soon be over.
Please bear with us.
Appreciation to those that escalated the incidents for remedial action:, Hon. S.O.B Agunbiade concluded.
Your message and update is highly commendable. I am really pleased to come across the information on 3rd Mainland Bridge Closure and the reprieve at Sekumade Road.
