SUBSIDY REMOVAL: HON JIMI BENSON SET TO DISTRIBUTE 5,000 FOOD PACKS AS PALLIATIVES

As part of efforts to cushion the effect of fuel subsidy removal, Member House of Representatives, representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Babajimi Benson has initiated the distribution of 5000 household food packs to the residents of Ikorodu Federal Constituency.

In a press statement, Benson stated that the food packs which consist of rice, beans and garri have been provided to vulnerable individuals and families to ease the economic hardsip in the community.

He noted that the food packs shall be distributed under the iCare Food bank which has been operational since 2016 with nominations via www.jimibenson.com/foodbank and through the Community Development Associations , religious bodies, youth organizations and traditional institutions.

The lawmaker urged the citizens to be steadfast, resilient and prayerful for the country, while being patient with the government of President Bola Tinubu.
