Though today, Wednesday 6th December was a working day, this never deterred many of the numerous friends, political associates and supporters of the House of Assembly Member, representing Ikorodu Constituency 1, Hon Ogunleye Gbolahan Adetokunbo from felicitating with him on his special day.
Goodwill Messages started pouring in from the early hours of the day and didn’t stop until late Wednesday night, as the numerous lovers of the State Lawmaker flooded all social media platforms to celebrate a man many have described as humble and unassuming.
Chairman, Senate Committee on Banking, Insurance and Other Financial Institutions was the first to felicitate with the birthday celebrant.
In a special birthday message, personally signed by him, on behalf of the good people of the Lagos East Senatorial District, Senator Tokunbo Abiru congratulated Hon. Gbolahan Adetokunbo Ogunleye, Honourable member, Lagos State House of Assembly (Ikorodu Constituency 1), on the joyous occasion of his birthday.
‘On this day, I join his family, particularly his father, who is our esteemed apex Leader in Ikorodu Division, His Excellency Prince Abiodun Ogunleye, his associates and well-wishers in wishing him a happy birthday. May Almighty God grant him more years in good health and prosperity. Ameen’, he said.
Similarly, the Chairman House of Reps Committee on Defense, Rep Babajimi Benson equally identified with the lawmaker, popularly called OGA by his numerous supporters.
Benson wrote, ‘I congratulate the member House of Assembly, representing Ikorodu Constituency I, Hon. Gbolahan Ogunleye on the occasion of his birthday’.
‘Your representation at the State House of Assembly and contributions to the growth of Ikorodu Division is noteworthy’, he stated.
Also, Hon Ogunleye’s counterpart in Ikorodu Constituency 2, Hon Aro Moshood Abiodun also felicitated with his colleague on his special day.
