Senator TOKUNBO Abiru, Chairman Senate Committee on Industries has joined eminent Nigerians to celebrate Hon Abike Dabiri-Erewa, a former Member of the House of Representatives and incumbent Chairman of NIDCOM.
Hon Abiru’s message was conveyed through a media statement released in Lagos on Tuesday and made available to newsmen.
The Distinguished Senator’s message is reproduced below;
On behalf of my family and the good people of Lagos East Senatorial District, I congratulate a great daughter of Ikorodu, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Nigerians In Diaspora Commission(NIDCOM), Hon (Mrs) Abike Kafayat Oluwatoyin Dabiri-Erewa on her 60th birthday which also coincides with her Order Of the Niger (OON)National Award conferment.
My dear sister, we are extremely proud of your sterling achievements as a public servant. The zeal and passion for excellence you brought to bear when you served our people as member, House of Representatives (Ikorodu Federal Constituency), same vigour is at play at NIDCOM.
The National Award of OON conferred on you is a further testament and well deserved honour in recognition of the several lives you have impacted positively.
As an accomplished Public Servant, you have become a beacon of hope for many aspiring young girls and ladies in politics and public service.
Lagosians and Nigerians are indeed proud of your leadership and accomplishments.
