The late Asiwaju of Ikorodu Kingdom, Chief Babatunde Olusola Benson will be buried in his home town, Ikorodu on Friday, 16th July.
His final burial will be preceded by a Wake Keep programme for the legal luminary at the Ikorodu Town Hall.
The details was contained in the final burial program, released by the planning Committee of the late former Nigerian Bar Association President.
Meanwhile, the Ikorodu Oga Development Association (IKODASS), the umbrella body of all social clubs and associations in Ikorodu, where late Benson served as it’s pioneer Chairman has organised ‘woro’, a traditional procession in honour of the their departed pioneer chairman on Thursday morning.
The Burial Planning Committee also announced that, there will be a special Church Service at the Methodist Church, Ikorodu on Friday, before the remains of the late President of the West Africa Bar Association (WABA) is finally laid to rest at
There will be a special guest reception at the Ikorodu Town Hall, Ikorodu.
The burial of the legal icon is coming about two (2) weeks after his demise.
Benson died in Ikorodu on t the ripe age of 88 years.
