LAGOS STATE LOCAL GOVERNMENT SERVICE COMMISSION CHAIR, ALH. BABTUNDE ROTINWA BAGS LASPOTECH FELLOWSHIP AWARD

Another deserving honour recently came the way of a retired Lagos State Head of Service and Chairman of Lagos State Local Government Service Commission, Alh Babatunde Tajudeen Rotinwa, as he was honoured and publicly decorated with the prestigious Fellowship of the Lagos State Polytechnic, FLSP.

Alh Rotinwa was decorated with the Fellowship Award by the Polytechnic Rector, Mr Samuel Sogunro at the just concluded LASPOTECH 27th Combined Convocation ceremony attended by the executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwoolu and his deputy, Engr Obafemi Hamzat.

Presenting Rotinwa to the Governor and Moderator of the institution, Mr Babajide Sanwoolu, Sogunro described Alh Rotinwa as an inspiration to the next generation, having achieved enviable feats in his personal life and professional career, the peak of which he attained as Lagos State Head of Service in 1998 and his current position as the Chairman, Lagos State Local Government Service Commission.

Addressing the governor, Mr Babajide Sanwoolu, his deputy, Engr Obafemi Hamzat, the Polytechnic Rector and other guests at the event, Alh Rotinwa stated that the conferment of the LASPOTECH Fellowship award was a honour that tallied with his dreams of helping others and serving humanity.

The honouree also expressed his readiness to contribute towards the development of Lagos State Polytechnic.

The event was witnessed by wife of the honouree, Mrs Adeola Rotinwa, Alh. Rotinwa’s children,  immediate family members, friends and associates. Members of his Club, Ikorodu Crystal Club were also well represented by notable members.
