LAGOS APC VICE CHAIRMAN, ASIPA KAOLI OLUSANYA PRESENTS PARTY FLAG TO IKORODU NORTH CHAIRMAN, HON ADEOLA BANJO, URGES AGGRIEVED MEMBERS TO RETURN TO THE FOLD

Vice Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC in Lagos East Senatorial District, Asipa Kaoli Olusanya has charged aggrieved members of the party who left due to grievances that trailed the recently concluded party primaries to sheathe their swords and return to the APC fold.

Kaoli made the call at the well attended formal flag off of the APC Chairmanship campaign in Ikorodu North LCDA on Saturday.

He also urged all party faithfuls to mobilised eligible voters to come out in large numbers on Saturday 24th of July 2021 to vote for all the APC candidates in the local government elections in the State.

Speaking in the same vein, a former vice Chairman and party leader in the LCDA, Hon Olasunkanmi Tijani thanked everyone for showing understanding with the party. He also urged all hands to be on deck so as to ensure victoriy for the party’s candidates at next saturday’s local government elections.

Similarly, other party chieftains at the flag-off event also urged every party members to validate the popularity of APC in the council area, by mobilising eligible voters to vote for all APC candidates on Saturday.

Earlier, in his speech,the Director-General of the Banjo second term campaign organisation, Hon Mathew Aliu Adesanya stated that the party’s victory on Saturday was sacroscant.

Shortly after he was presented the party’s flag by the APC Vice Chairman, Asipa Kaoli Olusanya, Hon Adeola Banjo thanked the good people of Ikorodu North LCDA for their love and support to him, his vice Chairman and all the councillorship candidates of the party in the forthcoming election. He also vowed to reciprocate their love and support, through the delivery of democracy dividends to all the wards on Ikorodu North LCDA.

The flag-off ceremony was graced by notable APC leaders in Ikorodu North LCDA and beyond.

They include, Hon Akibu Adewunmi (Apex Leader Ikorodu North), Hon Festus Ogunbela, Otunba Olasunkanmi Tijani and Dr Muhydeen Jokomba. Others are Mrs Toyin Salau, Hon Abiodun Iyiola, Otunba Sulaimon Fayas, Alhaji Jamiu Odidi
and Hon Shukurat Adewunmi
among others.

The carnival like event was spiced with sonorous songs by a live band who played songs to the admiration of all present.
