Despite recent disturbing news of criminal activities across Ikorodu division, there is hope of a bright light at the end of the tunnel, afterall. For the first time in many weeks, the division which has witnessed series of brutal Badoo gang attacks on its residents is in the news for the positive reason.
This cheering news was contained in a word of prophecy released by a clergy man, Pastor Abraham Ojeme, provincial and resident pastor of Winners’ Chapel, Ikorodu when ministering to business men and corporate executives, at a Marketplace Christian Conference, held in Ikorodu recently.
Speaking on a message titled, Understanding the Demands of Marketplace Exploits, Pastor Ojeme said that, God gave him the revelation on September 29th, 2014 when he mounted the Winners’ Chapel, Ikorodu Church podium, to preach his first message to the congregation, as the new resident pastor.
He further prophesied that, Ikorodu will be getting its own landing air strip, due to the influx of many Nigerians from across the nation who will be flying down to Ikorodu for one business transaction or the other.
The Conference event host, Omo’ba ’Peju Akinyemi,Founder and Chief executive Officer of Ikorodu Oga Radio in his own charge challenged Christians to make a difference in their business and professional endeavours so as to draw praises to God.
Drawing inference from Mathew 5:13-16, Akinyemi further lamented a situation where there was proliferation of Churches and worship centres across Nigeria , with little or no positive impact on the society. This, he said was responsible for the spate of corruption and hopelessness currently permeating the entire country.
