Ikorodu North LCDA APC Chairman, Hon Iyiola has advised Nigerian political office holders, especially those in Ikorodu and Lagos State to learn from the largeheartedness and kindheartedness of Hon Babajimi Benson, Member representing Ikorodu federal constituency at the House of Reps, Abuja.
The elated APC chieftain made this disclosure shortly after he received a ‘surprise’ car gift from the amiable federal legislator at his Ikorodu constituency office along Ebute-Igbogbo road in Ikorodu.
Hon Benson who is the Chairman, House Committee on Defence had, in his usual characteristic manner presented four (4) surprise car gifts to some APC leaders and members of his I-Care Foundation group in Ikorodu.
Ikorodu APC Local government chairmen, who were in a meeting with the Ikorodu legislator earlier, presented the car gifts to the beneficiaries, on behalf of the Ikorodu born politician.
In his brief remarks afternoon the presentation, Ikorodu North LCDA Chairman, Hon Iyiola who could not hide his joy at the pleasant surprise was full of praises to God and Hon Babajimi Benson, who he described as ‘Mr Surprise Package’.
‘Infact, I am suprised because, this is a favour I did not expect that has come to me as a pleasant suprise. When I was coming here, I did not expect this kind of suprise. Infact, this man, JB is the one to be called “suprise package”.
‘We have seen other things that he has done. I am not the only one he suprised today. He has also surprised countless people who did not expect it. God will continue to engrace him, God will take him to a higher heights’, he added.
‘I will advise fellow politicians like him to emulate what he is doing. He has set a good example for others to follow. If someone can suprise another person with a car, it is so shocking, so other politicians should do the same. They should do to others what they did not expect’, he concluded.
As at the last count, Hon Benson has presented over 50 car gifts to many of his constituents, especially members of his party, APC. The surprise car gift has now become a regular feature during his group, I-Care Foundation annual Christmas party in Ikorodu.
