The informal gathering witnessed the participation of both the established and growing media practitioners, including Mr. Olukunle Adelabu, Mr. Shakiru Seidu, Mr. Adeniyi Soyebo, Mr. Mike Eromona, Mr. Charles Ajuzie, Ọmọ Ọba Peju Akinyemi, Mr. Abdul-Rahmon Ajasa, and Alhaji Jimoh Mufutau, representing various media outlets in Ikorodu division.

In response, media representatives urged the council to champion transparency, particularly in budget analysis, and called for the Chairman to lead a collaborative effort among the six council leaders to enhance the division’s security architecture. Emphasizing the strategic importance of Ikorodu North LCDA, recommendations also highlighted concerted efforts for food security, positioning Ikorodu division as a significant contributor to Lagos state and Nigeria at large.
