A former Executive Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, Alh Akibu Adewunmi is dead.
Alh Adewunmi presided over the administration of Ikorodu Local Government between 1996 to 1997.
His tenure was noted for many developmental projects that has made him a point of reference in local government administration in Ikorodu Division.
The Apex leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ikorodu North LCDA drew his last breath at the Ikorodu General Hospital where he was receiving medical treatment.
The late Baba Adinni of of Odongunyan Central Mosque is survived by wife and many children, among whom is Hon Shukurat Adewunmi-Okeowo, a former Sole Administrator of Ikorodu North LCDA.
The late APC leader would be buried today according to Islamic rites.
