Football fever among football fans in Ikorodu divisions has reached high pitch towards the All-stars Easter football fiesta in Ikorodu, organised by the divisional football association, to commemorate the Easter holiday celebration in the division.
According to the organisers, eight teams from selected all-star teams across communities in Ikorodu division, namely; Ikorodu All Stars, Unique Fun All stars, All Stars Ijede, LASPOTECH All Stars, All Stars Ibeshe, All Stars Igbogbo, among others would do battle from Good Friday to Saturday, where the teams would knock each other out in the round robin fixtures.
The Final and Third Place matches have been scheduled to take place on Easter Monday, after the commemoration of Easter celebration on Sunday, which would also serve as rest and preparation period for the qualifying teams. The matches will take place at the Strong Tower football Arena in Ikorodu, over the period of the games.
