To commemorate this year’s edition, Hon Benson who is also the Chairman, House Committee on Defence has again given out over 500 food bags to single parents, widows, unemployed youths and the physically challenged across Ikorodu federal constituency, through his I-Care Foundation.

Beneficiaries of the food largesse who cut across age, ethnic, religious and political backgrounds were all seen wearing smiling look once they were handed the food bag, while many prayed to God to replenish the purse of the federal lawmaker.

It would be recalled that Hon Benson launched the free food distribution programme in October 2016, barely one year after his election into the House of Representatives.

During the historic Inauguration of the food bank, Hon Benson stated that he could not afford to let any member of his constituency go to bed hungry, this reiterating his commitment to the sustenance of the people-oriented initiative.
