IGBOGBO-BAIYEKU LCDA MEDIA ADVISER, SHAKIRU SEIDU, ANNOUNCES THE PASSING OF MOTHER, ELDER SHEFINAT SARAH SEIDU, AT 103

The family of Elder Shefinat Sarah Adunni Seidu has announced her peaceful transition to eternal glory on Monday, June 15, 2026.

The announcement was made by her son, Shakiru Moritan Seidu (SMS), Special Adviser to the Chairman of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA and Publisher of MegaXpression Media, the first community media platform in Igbogbo Kingdom.

Until her passing, Elder Shefinat Sarah Adunni Seidu was a respected Elder and devoted member of UAMC Eleja Church, where she served God faithfully and remained committed to the growth of the church and the spiritual development of its members.

Widely known for her humility, compassion, and commitment to peaceful coexistence, Mama was also a strong advocate of peace within the community.

Throughout her lifetime, she touched many lives through her motherly guidance, prayers, generosity, and dedication to the welfare of others.The family described her as a virtuous woman whose legacy of faith, love, service, and integrity will continue to inspire generations.

She lived a fulfilled life and remained steadfast in her devotion to God, family, and humanity until her last breath.Elder Shefinat Sarah Adunni Seidu, aged 103 years, is survived by children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and a large circle of relatives, friends, church members, and admirers whose lives she positively impacted.

According to the family, funeral arrangements have been scheduled as follows:Wake-Keep Service: Thursday, 9th July, 2026 Funeral Service, Interment and Reception: Friday, 10th July, 2026.
