The entire Sotonwa and Animashaun family of Ikorodu yesterday, 13th February hosted a special prayer and family get-together to mark the 46th Remembrance Anniversary of their patriarch, Late Alh Oseni Sotonwa who died on 13th February, 1980.
Late Oseni Sotonwa popularly known as Baba Kekere among family and social circles in Ikorodu in the 60s and 70s, is the father of the current Sekumade of Ipakodo, His Royal Majesty, Oba Engr Basiru Aremu Sotonwa, FNSE, who ascended the throne in 2018.
Children, grandchildren and great-grand children of the late icon turned out in large numbers to grace the special 46th Remembrance prayers held at the family compound in Ijomu, Ikorodu.
They well also joined by many extended family members and other well-wishers to honiyr the memory of the late icon of Sotonwa Animashaun family.
In a special remembereance publication on The Punch Newspapers of Friday, 13th February, signed by the Sekumade of Ipakodo, Oba Engr Basiru Aremu Sotonwa, FNSE on behalf of the entire family, they paid a glowing tribute to their late icon.
