
The Executive Secretary of Ikorodu Division Peace Initiative (IDPIL), Otunba Ganiyu Olusegun Abiru has aasured that the multi-billion-naira critical care facility donated to the General Hospital, Ikorodu by the IDPIL will ve ready for commissioning by May this year.
Abiru gave the assurances, today 12th February on the sideline of a guided media tour of the facility today by the Board and Management of the IDPIL.

Recall that royal fathers across Ikorodu Division, led by the Ayangburen of Ikorodu, Oba Engr Dr Kabiru Adewale Shotobi laid the foundation for the multi-billion naira facility on 11th June, 2024.
They were also joined by Dr. Lukman Kareem, a Consultant Cardiologist, who also doubles as the Deputy Director, Clinical Services and Training of the hospital.
The Executive Secretary gave the assurance following the satisfaction of the IDPIL Board with the level and quality of work done within the stipulated timeline.
Project Manager of the facility, Mr. also assured the visitors, promising that all internal works would be completed on or before February ending, to be followed by the external works which he said would be fully completed on or before March ending, while installation of equipment and other healthcare machines would be done in April, making the proposed May 7 commissioning date a reality.
Earlier, IDPIL Board of Trustees Chairman, High Chief Adewunmi Ogunsanya, SAN emphasized that the project was a collective effort of all IDPIL members who are the initiators of theproject, in line with the H in rhe body’s acronym qhich stands for Health SHEER Development Agenda.
