
The immediate past Executive Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, Hon. Wasiu Adesina has been turbaned as the ‘Bada Adini’ of As-samadani Global Islamic Organization.
The turnabinig cremony of Adeshina took place on Sunday during the annual Maould-Nabiy celebration of the organization in Ikorodu.
Adeshina was also presented with an “Award of Excellence” by AS-SAMADAANI – The Global Corporation of Islamic Organization, in recognition of his impactful public service and contributions to the advancement of Islam within and outside of public office.

In his brief remarks at the event, His Eminence, Sheikh Yahaya Oshoala, Missioner of As-Samadani and Chief Imam of Oriwu Central Mosque, Ikorodu, described the former Chairman as a staunch Islamic faithful and a leader whose influence extends beyond politics to the upliftment of humanity in general.

In a chat with Ikorodu Oga Radio, Adesina expressed gratitude for the honour, dedicating the award to the Muslim community of Ikorodu and pledging continued support for programs that promote religious harmony, social development, and empowerment of the less privileged in the society.

The turbaning ceremony was graced by the immediate past Secretary to Ikorodu Local Government, Hon. Lateef Afinih, a former Supervisor for Health, Imam Rotinwa, Ikorodu Division APC Womaen Leader, Alh. Rashidat Bello and othwr prominent members of the WADESH Team.
Islamic scholars, Muslim faithfuls and important dignitaries from across Ikorodu Division and beyond also witnessed the turbaning ceremony.
