To mark the Maiden Founder’s Day of the Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH), Jubril Ogunbiyi, a 200-level student of the Accounting Department in the College of Applied Social Sciences (CASS) won the overall best student with a CGPA of 5.0.
With this feat, Ogunbiyi will enjoy a full-year tuition-free scholarship from the University, while 66 other students with a 4.5 CGPA and above will enjoy a 50% rebate on their tuition. The students were picked from the 5 colleges of the University.
The Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof Olumuyiwa Odusanya also announced a scholarship donation of One Million Naira for the Best Male and Female from the Epe Division at #100,000.00 Naira each for five sessions, in honour of his late mother, Mrs. Adetola Odusanya.
In the same vein, Prof. Adebisi Balogun of the College of Agriculture also honored five best students from the five Colleges in the 2022/2023 session with #75,000 each.
