Respite may have come to residents and regular users of the Ikorodu-Sagamu road. This follows a statement from Winners’ Chapel, Ikorodu to embark on a community efforts, towards the repair of the terribly bad portion of the road, from Oriwu Club secretariat, Agbala up to Winners’ Chapel junction, before Lagos State Polytechnic, Ikorodu Campus.
Resident Pastor of Winners Chapel, Ikorodu Pastor Triumphant Obamoh made this disclosure during the Church’s Sunday services on September 3rd, 2017. Pastor Obamoh, who decried the dilapidated state of the road, said the Church has decided to bring relief to residents and motorists on the road, as part of its corporate social responsibility efforts, tagged Road Outreach.
Consequently, the church has set up a technical committee, comprising of engineers, architects, quantity surveyors and other professionals top make recommendation to the Church on the best approach to be adopted.
