ROTIMI EROGBOGBO IS IKORODU MAN-OF-THE-YEAR

Mr Rotimi Erogbogbo, a seasoned administrator, senior civil servant and philanthropist has emerged the winner of Ikorodu Man of the Year award, 2015. Erogbogbo is the founder and proprietor of Rhoda Youth Centre, a free skill acquisition and empowerment centre for youth in Ikorodu.

He is also a community man par excellence, he is the Chairman, Ikorodu Division Solution Alliance (IDSA), Member, Board of Trustee (BOT), member, Ikorodu Community Development Awards Foundation as well as League of Journalists, Ikorodu among other community activities.

According to Mr ‘Damola Aderibigbe, Publisher, Starlite and Legacy Celebrity Magazine (LCM), the Man-of-the-Year award was inspired by the need to celebrate individuals and organizations contributing meaningfully to the development of Ikorodu division”

Lagos State Polytechnic, Ikorodu also emerged as ‘Ikorodu Brand of the Year 2015’Also honoured at the event were, Otunba (Sir) Ayodele Elesho (Most Outstanding Community Statesman), Alhaja Abiodun Sherifat Ogunniyi (Most Outstanding Civil Servant), Mr Wasiu Ayodeji Adeshina (Most Outstanding Public servant in Ikorodu), Princess Aderoju Ladega (2015 Most Outstanding Youth) and Alhaji Lukman Shonibare (Most Outstanding Community Development Advocate). Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba and the President, League of Journalists, Otunba Dare Odufowokan received Special recognition awards for their service and commitments to the development of Ikorodu.
