Popular Yoruba actor and comedian, Mr Babatunde Omidina, a.k.a Baba Suwe is dead.
According to sources, Baba Suwe died today after battling an undisclosed illness for some years.
Omidina, a native of Igbogbo town in Ikorodu local government of Lagos State was at a time the ‘State Governor’ of Association of Nigerian Theatre Practitioners (ANTP).
He will be remembered for his comedy roles in many Yoruba video films and TV Productions in the 80s, 90s and early 2000s.
Omidina, born in 1958 died at the age of 63 May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
Details of his death and burial are still sketchy as at the time of filing
