Permanent Member of the Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (LSUBEB), Hon Saheed Ibikunle has described members of the newly elected State Executives of the ruling, All Progressives Congress APC as round pegs in round holes.
He stated that, ‘the new exco is peopled with men and women from diverse backgrounds, this shows that our great party, APC in Lagos State is in safe hands’.
Dr Ibikunle made this remark in his goodwill message to the new State Executives, barely 48 hours after the State Congress of the party, was held at the Onikan Stadium in Lagos on Saturday.
He noted that Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, State Chairman of the party was a man with unblemish leadership track records, having served as a former Commissioner and House of Reps member, among other Leadership roles.
He also praised the choice of Hon Sunmi Odesanya, a former member of the Lagos State House of Assembly from Ikorodu, whom he described as a personal friend and brother as a well thought decision.
The scholar and politician concluded by congratulating members of the APC in the State on a successful Congress, while wishing the new executive a successful tenure in office.
