The Executive Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, Hon Wasiu Adeshina has congratulated the Ayangburen of Ikorodu, Oba Kabir Adewale Shotobi on the occasion of the 2024 Odun Osu Festival.
Adeshina, in his felicitations personally signed by him and shared with Ikorodu Oga Radio also felicitated with all Ikorodu Princes from the two ruling houses, Rademo and Lasunwon on the occasion of the annual event.
Speaking on the significance of the annual celebrations, the Council boss noted that, the event jas noe become a major rallying point for Ikorodu Princesses and Princesses at home and and in diaspora.
He equally charged the revered monarch and Permanent Vice Chairman of Lagos State Council of Obas and Chiefs to use the opportunity of the annual event to showcase the rich cultural heritage of Ikorodu Kingdom to the outside world.
He further prayed for long life and good health for Oba Shotobi and Ikorodu Royal bloods to witness many more of the celebrations on earth.
Odun Osu’, an annual week-long celebration of Ikorodu Royal bloods commenced last week and will climax today with a special reception hosted by Oba Kabir Adewale Shotobi, the Ayangburen of Ikorodu.
