I will always be grateful for the mandate YOU reposed in me, and thank you all for the congratulatory messages, words of encouragement and also acknowledge that we can do more.

With this renewed mandate, I shall strive with your unflinching support to put in place through legislation institutions that will bring about development to Ikorodu, specifically,  I will look into mobilizing efforts to ensure our 5 Local Council Development Areas get recognized as full-fledged Local Government Areas. I will also be putting forward a bill to encourage startup businesses amongst the youth, legislation of the creation of food banks across the country, and drive oversights to ensure the lighter terminal is further utilized to its full capacity with accompanying infrastructure.

The need for infrastructural development and renewal in our Division cannot be over emphasized and I shall leverage on the Federal and State structures to see this through.

The foregoing can only be achieved with your continuous support, advice, critique.

I thank you so much for your prayers, and the opportunity to serve. I pray that we shall all find good reasons to celebrate in good health, promotion and prosperity.

Amen.

Babajimi Benson, MHR.
