For the umpteenth time, Rep Babajimi Benson has been commended for providing quality representation and for attracting monumental infrastructural projects to the Ikorodu Federal Constituency.
Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Lagos State, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi gave the latest commendation as the Special Guest of Honour at the formal commissioning of the 2.5 Ori-Okuta Link Road in Agric Area of Ikorodu West LCDA yesterday.
Ojelabi thanked Benson for projecting the good image of the party in Ikorodu Federal Constituency.
‘Let me thank you for giving me the privilege to come and see again what Hon. JB is doing in his capacity as the representative of APC representing the people of Ikorodu federal constituency’.
His words; ‘Hon JB, as the Chairman of our party, I want to appreciate you for projecting the good image of our party and appreciate you for expanding the scope of our party and for strengthening our party through your good works’.
Similarly, Ojelabi equally thanked residents of Ori-Okuta for their support for the Federal Lawmaker and the ruling All Progressives Congress.
‘Let me also thank the people of this community for appreciating what he has done to enhance a better living for this particular community. I want to thank’.
‘To the people of this community I want to thank you for believing in the philosophy of our party for making sure that you cast your votes for our party. Today Hon.JB is fulfilling his aspect of the promises’, he added.
Earlier, Benson thanked the good people of Ori-Okuta for their massive support for his elections.
The federal lawmaker also seized the opportunity to highlight some of the policies of the APC-led Federal Government aimed at alleviating the suffering of Nigerians.
He cited the on-going review of the minimum wage, students loan aimed at relieving parents of the burden of sponsorship of their ward’s education as well as consumer credit programme which allows Nigerians to buy any appliances they need for their business or household and can pay in instalmentally.
On his part, Ikorodu West LCDA Chairman, Hon Sulaiman Kazeem Olanrewaju described himself as the happiest man and luckiest Council Chairman because of the massive road projects Benson was doing within the LCDA.
Baale of Ori-Okuta, Alh Alowonle and other community leaders at the event praised Benson for bringing relief to them at this time.
It is instructive to note that the newly commissioned Ori-Okuta road project is the 57th road project Rep Benson has facilitated across Ikorodu Division.
