The Ayangburen and paramount ruler of Ikorodu Division, Oba Kabir Adewale Shotobi has sent an open letter of commendation to Senator Adetokunbo Mukhail Abiru, FCA Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District for facilitating the rehabilitation of the Ikorod-Itoikin road and for personally sponsoring the on-going palliative work on the road, pending when contractors will move to the site.
Oba Shotobi gave the open commendation, through an open letter signed on his behalf by a former Lagos State Commissioner for Information and the Agba Akin of Ikorodu Kingdom, Otunba Ayodele Elesho on Wednesday.

My distinguished Senator,
IKORODU – ITOIKIN ROAD PALLIATIVE REPAIR WORK:
l have no doubt whatsoever in my mind that you truly justify the DOING GOOD accolade being used by our people to describe the good works you are doing throughout the length and breadth of lkorodu Division and most especially the on-going Multi-Million Naira palliative works being funded and executed by you on Ikorodu – ltoikn Road.
Before your recent intervention, the ever busy major road has become not only un-motorable but, at the verge of being totally abandoned by motorists.
This your singular action, as well as other meritorious services being continuously rendered to the good people of lkorodu Division and majority of our people generally were not only being appreciated, but you have succeeded in proofing that there are many other services that goes along with Law Making for the good of the people, for which you are a good reference personality.
Therefore, on behalf of my humble self, the Royal families, Ayangbure in Council and indeed the good people of Ikorodu kingdom, l hereby convey to you our very sincere appreciation for the good work you are doing on the Ikorodu – ltoikin Road palliative repair work, being single handedly funded by you, pending when the Federal Government will commence Major reconstruction of the road.
I pray that Almighty Allah will continue to bless you and achieve more for the good of our people.
