IKORODU BORN PRINCESS FOLASHADE OLABANJI-OBA BAGS U.N PEACE AMBASSADOR AWARD

Ikorodu Born politician and public affairs analyst, Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba has been honoured with the United Nation’s Peace and Impactful Youth Ambassador Award at an exclusive event on Friday 30th December, 2016 .

The award was conferred on Princess Oba by the United Nations Youth Foundation, in recognition of her roles and contributions towards the promotion of peace and impactful youth development in Nigeria.

Princess Folashade Oba was honoured alongside top Nigeria’s political heavyweights who have also been outstanding in politics, leadership and other areas of endeavour. Some of the awardees include, the immediate past Governor of Lagos State and present Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Raji Fashola, Former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, Present Governor of Rivers State, Nyesome Wike, Former Governor of Akwa Ibom State and present Senate Minority leader, Godswill Ukpabio, former Governor of Enugu State, Sullivan Chime, among others.
