The Ikorodu Oga Development Association IKODASS has mourned the exit Exit of Pa Falabake Ogbe, A Foremost Lawyer, former Lagos State Local Government Service Commissioner and head of the Araba Odujumo family of Ikorodu.
The Chairman of IKODASS, Mr Rotimi Erogbogbo paid glowing tributes to the late community leader, describing his death as a great loss to Ikorodu community.
The tribute is reproduced below;
Ikorodu has lost a rare gem on the death of Pa Falabale Ogbe, Esq, the head of the Odujumo Araba family and a senior legal practitioner of many decades.
He was a foremost community developer, students’ activist and soul winner for God and his Church.
Late Pa Ogbe served as a Commissioner in the Lagos State Local Government Service.
Pa Ogbe contributed immensely to the development of Ikorodu. He, alongside others, initiated the idea of having a befitting Town Hall for the Ikorodu community. They equally saw to its actualization.
Today, the ultra modern Ikorodu Town Hall is not just hosting the Ikorodu-Oga Development Association (IKODASS) but other important institutions and functions in Ikorodu.
Pa Ogbe was a great mind who also contributed to the development of legal profession in Ikorodu and also encouraged and trained many other young lawyers who are today doing great things.
As a former Commissioner in the Lagos State Local Government Service Commission, Pa Ogbe also facilitated the appointments of many Ikorodu sons and daughters into the service and today, many of these are in top cadre of the service.
We express our condolences to the entire Ikorodu people, Odujumo–Araba and Ogbe families and more importantly, sons and daughters of late Pa S.F. Ogbe. May Olodumare grant him eternal rest and the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
