A celebrated life coach, Lanre Olusola, Akin Alabi, MD/CEO of NaijaBet are among the Speakers lined up for the 2nd edition of the annual I-Care Lecture Series for youths, entrepreneurs and political office holders across Ikorodu federal constituency.
The lecture which has now been re-scheduled to hold from Monday 27th to Tuesday 28th January, 2019 at Regal Hall, Olu Odo Estate, Igbogbo.
The lecture series which debut in 2019, with popular motivational speaker and human capacity development expert, Lanre Olusola and his team of coaches as facilitators has now been adopted as I-Care Lecture Series, with the 2nd edition to feature homegrown Ikorodu-based professionals, as facilitators.
According to Mayor Deen Sanwoola, ‘The iCare Lecture Series is an initiative of iCare Foundation of Rep. Babajimi Benson. The Lecture Series is designed to contribute to the body of knowledge of Ikorodu Division residents, most importantly the Youths. It will serve as a platform for Professionals to enlighten the Youths on current trends in Political, Social, Economic and Employment outlook of Nigeria and the World in general. We hope to use the lecture series to drive attitudinal changes in our community for Good Leadership, Entrepreneurship and to instill confidence in our Youths to be able to Compete globally.
Speaking to Ikorodu Oga Radio, Director-General of the I-Care Foundation, host of the lecture series, Deen Sanwoola disclosed that, his team have decided to look inward for facilitators of the s3cond lecture series, considering the array of human and intellectual resources available in Ikorodu. He added that, the idea to use eminently qualified Ikododu based facilitators was also meant to promote local content, with a view to creating opportunity for one-on-one follow ups and accessible mentoring for participants.
