The Olumale Eluku of Ikorodu, Chief Oreagba has debunked fake news being peddles on the social media that he is dead.
The Olumale Eluku of Ikorodu debunked the rumour in a message he personally signed and circulated on the social media on Thursday, 5th August.
The press statement is hereby reproduced below;
It has come to our notice that some mischievous persons have stooped so low as to pronounce death on the head of the Eluku family ( the olumale)
We received messages from friends, family, colleagues and good people of Ikorodu that a certain person sent a massage
” The Olumale (head of the Eluku) in Ikorodu passed on this morning. Let’s be guided o, no late nights in and around Ikorodu o. God protect us all, please tell friends and families and family that want to come to Ikorodu”
This is to inform the entire community of Ikorodu Land and Lagos State that the Elumale Eluku is Hale and hearty ( not dead) please desist from spreading fake news around Ikorodu and it’s environs.
