The member, representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency at the House of Reps, has commended the Executive Chairman of Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA, Omo’ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun for his infrastructural drive in Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA.
Benson, gave the commendation on Wednesday in Igbogbo during the commissioning of Oliwo-Amoju and Olayinka streets, two adjoining roads in Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA that had been in deplorable state for many years.
Impressed by the road projects with accompany street lights, the Chairman, House Committee on Defense compared HOA as he is fondly called to Nigeria’s president, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR who was also in Lagos to commision some roads and other infrastructural projects in Lagos State on the same day.
Benson said, ‘Aroyewun is doing exactly what his father, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who is also in Lagos today to commission some projects, is doing, through this project being commissioned today’.
The federal lawmaker further commended the council boss for his commitment to the infrastructural development of Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA since he assumed office less rgan a year ago.
Similarly, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, lauded Aroyewun for embarking on the project while praying for more infrastructural strides during his tenure.
Ikorodu Constituency 2 House of Assembly member, Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun, equally praised Aroyewun, describing him as a good disciple of Rep Benson as demonstrated by his modest development projects in Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA. .
APC Apex Leader, Igbogbo-Baiyeku, Asiwaju Olorunfunmi Bashorun, former Minister for Works and GAC member, Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe as well as a former Lagos State House of Assembly member and former Commissioner for Arts & Culture, Hon. Adebimpe Akinsola were unanimous in lauding Aroyewun for bringing succor to residents and motorists of the two communities.
