
Senator Adetokunbo Abiru, Chairman Senate Committee on Banking, Finance and Other Financial Institutions, has pledged his continued support for the annual Ikorodu-Oga Festival.
Abiru equally pledged his support for other initiatives of the body, including the IKODASS scholarship fund.
To demonstrate his commitment, the Ikorodu-born Senator announced the donation of N5 Million Naira each, for the 2025 Ikorodu Oga Festival and another N5 Million Naira into the body’s scholarship fund, making a total of Ten Million Naira.

The delegation of the Ikorodu Oga Development Association (IKODASS) was led by the IKODASS Chairman, Alh. Kolawole Fatai.
Earlier in his remarks, Kolawole commended Abiru for the massive work he is doing in the Senate as well as his several infrastructural interventions across Ikorodu Division and Lagos East in general.

He also used the opportunity to brief the federal lawmaker about some strides so far recorded by his executive in the last few months since he assumed office.
The IKODASS Chairman equally intimated the Senator on the line up of activities for the upcoming 34th Ikorodu-Oga Festival and appealed for his usual upport.

A major highlight of the visit was the presentation of the festival’s uniform and branded frames to Senator Abiru, a gesture that symbolized the association’s appreciation for his commitment to Ikorodu’s development.
