
In preparation for a memorable 2025 Ikorodu-Oga Day Celebration, the organizers of the annual event and umbrella body of all social clubs and trade organizations across Ikorodu community, Ikorodu-Oga Development Association (IKODASS) has formally unveiled the official ankara fabric for the 34th edition of the annual community event.
Iyaloja-General of Ikorodu Division, Dcns Chief Busola Isikalu, on Sunday formally unveiled the fabric on behalf of the IKODASS Chairman, Alh. Kolawole Fatai.
In attendance at the formal unveiling were the Deputy Cbairman of IKODASS, Olola Olusegun Iluyombo and IKODASS Vice Chairrman, Alh. Olounrinu, among other executive members of the association.

The event was also graced by the Deputy Iyaloja-General Ikorodu Central, Mrs Adebukola Osho, and Iyaloja of Sabo Market, Alh. Mutiat Ojulari Allison and several market leaders across Ikorodu Division.
In his brief remarks at the unveiling, Alh. Kolawole called on sons, daughters, and residents of Ikorodu at home and in diaspora to rally round the association and buy the Ankara enmasse.
He explained that the Ankara fabric represented the Ikorodu Oga Day family uniform, thus encouraging massive patronage for uniformity and a colourful outing.

Similarly, the Iyaloja-General who spoke on behalf of all market men and women in Ikorodu community assured the IKODASS Chairman of their commitment towards driving patronage for the Ankara fabric.
The unveiling ceremony was also witnessed by hundreds of youths drawn from Ikorodu’s three main quarters, namely Aga, Isele and Ijomu who used the opportunity to rub minds on how to make the 2025 Ikorodu Oga Day Celebration Fanti Carnival a success.

The 2025 Ikorodu-Oga Festival is slated for Saturday, 8th to 15th November, 2025.
