As the recently inaugurated IKODASS Executive Council under the Chairmanship of Alh. Kolawole Fatai continues its visit to key community stakeholders to seek their support and partnership, the new IKODASS Executiv Council has been charged to embark on repositioning of the association.
Making this call was the Asipa of Ikorodu and former Commissioner for Agriculture in Lagos State, Asiwaju Kaoli Olusanya.
Olusanya who is a notable Ikorodu Division Leader and Elder-Statesman, made the call on Monday, 16th June, when he played host to the newly-inaugurated IKODASS Executives, led by Its Chairman, Alh. Kolawole Fatai.

The visit was part of the Executive Council’s on-going consultation and familiarization visits to critical Ikorodu community Stakeholders.
Asiwaju Olusanya during the visit rubbed minds with the Exco and shared insights with them on ways to further position the body for optimal impact.
He specifically tasked the new Executive Council to embark on the immediate repositioning of the body as well as her Annual flagship event, Ikorodu Oga Day celebrations, with a view to making it more interesting and attractive to indigenes and residents alike.

The Asiwaju of Ibeshe Land also admonished the body to review its revenue sources, noting that as an organization that has come of age, it can no longer depend on voluntary donations alone for its sustenance.
Earlier, IKODASS Chairman, Alh. Kolawole in his brief address took the Asiwaju of Ibeshe through his A-R-I-S-E Agenda and how it will benefit Ikorodu tremendously.

He equally used the opportunity to give account or his 1-month in office to the community leader, while seeking his guidance and support for the accomplishment of the vision.
A major highlight of the visit was the presentation of a Gold-framed Ikorodu Oga Anthem to the Community leader, in recognition of his selfless service to the community.
