REP BENSON PLEDGES SUPPORT FOR IKODASS A-R-I-S-E AGENDA AS NEW IKODASS CHAIRMAN, ALH KOLAWOLE FATAI-LED EXCO PAYS COURTESY VISIT TO FEDERAL LAWMAKER

The Federal Lawmaker, representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rep Babajimi Benson has thrown his weight behind the newly inaugurated Executives of the Ikorodu Oga Development Association (IKODASS).

Benson, who is also the Chairman, House Committee on Defence pledged his support for the new IKODASS Executive, under the leadership of Alh. Fatai Kolawole on Friday when the new Chairman led some members of his executive on a courtesy visit to the latter at his Constituency Office in Ikorodu.

Addressing the Lawmaker, Alh. Kolawole formally presented his 5-Point IKODASS ARISE Agenda to Benson, while seeking his robust support and partnership towards implementing the agenda which cuts strategic development socio-cultural areas.

Responding, Benson described Kolawole’s ARISE agenda as a commendable blueprint that is capable of transforming the socio-cultural landscape of Ikorodu, promising to do all within his powers to support the executive in realizing them.

The visit, according to the new IKODASS was part of his strategic moves towards rallying the support of all Ikorodu’s critical stakeholders support for the new executive.

Many have therefore commended Kolawole for galvanizing the lawmaker’s support barely 2 weeks after he assumed office as the new IKODASS Chairman.

To say that the very unassuming IKODASS Chairman has started galvanizing the support of major Ikorodu stakeholders for his administration and his ARISE Agenda is stating the obvious.

Some of the executive members that joined the Chairman on the visit were the Deputy Chairman, Olola Olusegun Iluyombo,Vice Chairman, Mr Babatunde Anifowoshe, Legal Officer, Barr Olabisi Kolawole and the Welfare Officer, Mr Oke Matti Azeez.
