An Ikorodu-based Nigerian media personality and YouTuber, Bisiriyu Rafiu Olalekan, known widely as LekVibe, is on a mission to make history and a difference, through a Guinness World Record attempt.
Come August 31, 2025, Bisiriyu will attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the Most Socks Worn on One Foot — 190 socks — not for fame, but to raise support to send 500 slum kids to school.
With years of experience as a sports analyst on Tungba FM, IKD 106.5 FM, Agege Community Radio, and as the founder of online media outlet Astv9ja, LekVibe blends media, storytelling, and activism to inspire change.
Speaking on the inspiration behind the attempt, he said, ‘This is not just about socks. It’s about breaking barriers and giving slum kids a shot at a future. If I can wear 190 socks on one foot, we can send 500 kids to school. That’s what this is all about’.

From the floating streets of Makoko to the heart of Ikorodu, LekVibe’s work highlights untold stories and sparks hope. Now, he’s calling on sponsors, media platforms, and the global community to support the record-breaking challenge and the mission behind it.
The planned attempt will hold as follows;
